This policy explains what information Globepedia collects, why, and what choices you have. Last updated: June 2026.
• An anonymous visitor cookie, so each visitor can vote only once per poll. • A one-way scrambled version of your IP address, used only to prevent abuse. We do not store your actual IP address. • Your country, only if you choose it yourself. We never use GPS or detect your location. • Your name, email and profile picture, if you sign in with Google to comment. • Whatever you send us through poll suggestions or the contact form.
We use this information to count votes fairly, prevent duplicate voting and spam, show combined results, and reply to your messages. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not show advertising based on it.
Results are only ever shown as totals. No one can see how an individual person voted. A country's results stay hidden until it has at least 5 votes. Comments and poll suggestions are public, and they show the name you provide.
We use essential cookies only: one to recognise your browser for voting and one to keep you signed in. You can clear them in your browser at any time. If you do, you may be able to vote again, but your previous vote still counts.
You can vote without choosing a country, and without an account. To ask about or delete information you have sent us, use the Contact page.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
